Hotel Policies

PROPER I.D. -  there must be at least (1) occupant that is a minimum of 21 years of age with a valid Drivers License or State I.D. Card staying in the room.  The Bar Staff reserves the right to I.D. at the bar for purchases of alcoholic beverages.


PETS IN ROOMS & SMOKING IN NON-SMOKING ROOMS. - It is the guests responsibility to mention their pet at check in.  Our Pet policy is $10.00 per pet, per night, maximum of (2) pets per room.  All Pet owners must have a valid credit card on file.  All Pets are to be walked in the designated pet walking area. NO PETS AT POOL SIDE.  Owners must take care of any solid waste appropriately.  Housekeeping will not clean rooms with unsecured pets.  Rooms with a "Do Not Disturb" will be check by a Hotel Manager.  Any Guest who smokes in a non-Smoking room is subject to a $100.00 Cleaning Fee.  Hotel Reserves the right to refuses any guest with pets that are nuisance, unsanitary or dangerous to others.


CASH AND PRE-PAID RESERVATIONS. - All cash and pre-paid reservations (ie, internet, coms, Direct bills, advance payments, etc) require a $25.00 cash or credit card deposit for incidentals and in the event that room is damaged or missing items.   All cash Deposit rooms will be walked upon check out for damages or missing items before the deposit is refunded.  Credit cards/debit cards will be charged accordingly if there are damages or missing items.  Hotel reserves the right to only accept a credit card for deposit from guest(s).


POOL HOURS. - The pool is open during the hours of 8:00am -> 11:00pm daily.  Only registered guest are allowed in the pool.  VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL.


EARLY CHECK OUT. - For weekly Rates / Manager Specials if early checkout for is required your rate will be converted to the daily RACK and prorated for your stay.


CHECK IN. - 3:00pm Check In prior to 7:00am must check out 11:00pm same day.
CHECK OUT. -  11:00am a late check out fee of $10.00 per hour is increments of one hour will be charged to you room account.

What information do we collect?

When you fill in any of our enquiry forms online the information you supply to us is used purely to respond to your request. This information is not supplied to any other party nor gathered for uses other than responding to your request. Information taken for a booking, name, contact telephone number and card details, are used purely for confirming your reservation.

Credit card information

We can take your credit or debit card information through several channels, over the phone, by fax or using our secure online service. This information is used as a guarantee. against a late cancellation of a no show. More information on our cancellation policy here. We may also use this information to charge your card for the reasons laid out in the next point.

Charging your card

We do reserve the right to charge your card in the following instances:

    *  For any damage done to your hotel room during your stay that is discovered after you have left the hotel. This is clearly stated on our room notice.
    * For the price of the room in the case of late cancellation or no show as per our cancellation policy.
    * For the cost of a deep clean in the event you smoke in your room or bathroom. This is clearly stated on the room notices.
    * If you leave the hotel without settling your room, restaurant or bar bill.


Data Protection Policy Overview

Data protection laws exist to strike a balance between the rights of individuals to privacy and the ability of organisation's to use data for the purposes of their business. The Data Protection Act 1984 introduced basic rules of registration for users of data and rights of access to that data for the individuals to which it related.

Data protection at the Tahitian Resort

Customers or Guests

The hotel stores only very limited data on it's customers and guests. This takes the form of a name, telephone number and credit or debit card information. This information is stored potentially both on a password protected computerised accounts system and in our reservations system. Card details are also kept in the form of our retained credit / debit card slip which is attached to a copy of your invoice and stored in a locked filing cabinet. The card information we hold is limited and therefore of little use other than as a booking guarantee.

None of this information is used for any other purpose than that stated when we took it.

No information is passed to third parties of any kind.
